As people leaders, we recognized the importance of developing and providing opportunities for our associates to invest in their self-growth and career development. We sent 20 of our top managers to training in 2018. They all did well in the course, which they attended for one day each week, in three-hour sessions for 8 weeks. After a month, our leaders struggled to recall any of the information they had learned; it was as if they had forgotten everything.
